SecurPC for Windows 95 Version 2.0.2
The system didn't have anything else running (it got written whenever
the password was changed); the sectors the passwords were in were
unallocated. Seems like it chose a random unallocated sector and
dropped it there.

It may be that his disk was infected with a sniffer.
