Markus Hahn has found that his pure java implementation of Blowfish causes
the Just In Time compiler in the new JDK1.1.6 to crash. It runs fine
with -nojit

I don't think that he is doing anything out of the ordinary. This may have
implications for other math intensive applications written in Java.

Bug documentation, tests and short-term fix;

Original Blowfish for Java 1.3 (this still triggers the bug) can be
downloaded from ;
