Adam Back wrote lots of unreadable Perl stuff...:

But what's wrong with the stuff in CPAN, for example MIME::Base64 from,
for example,
ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/mirrors/perl/CPAN/authors/id/GAAS/MIME-Base64-2.05.tar.gz

and for MD5:

ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/mirrors/perl/CPAN/authors/id/NWINT/MD5-1.7.tar.gz

Cheers,

Ben.
