Since there seems to be some interest in reversing and cracking the
encryption used by Meganet I thought some of you might be interested
in the reversal and crack of another program. There was no contest;
the crack of the proprietary algorithms used by Maedae Enterprises'
Encrypt-It for Windows was done for the fun of it.

I have uploaded the essay, by my friend Casimir, to my web site.
The essay is in in three parts that are hyperlinked to each other.
C source code for a crack which works for versions 3.30 - 4x.0 is
also included.

Your comments on this approach (and encryption cracking, in general),
