I've been approached by someone representing a small to medium size
company who may want to hire one or more persons to attempt to break into
a cryptographically secure system used for online payments and related
record storage.

If anyone with experience in this area would care to send me some info
what the going rates are, and pointers to their credentials if we don't
happen to be personally acquainted, I may be able to broker something.

My sense is that these guys are not very sure if they want to go forward
with this, so there's a good chance nothing will come of it, but you never
know. It would not hurt to have the info on file in any case.
