It would be neat to have the encryption done in a module that's
compatible with an off-the-shelf RedHat kernel.

I want the encrypted file system to look exactly like unpartitioned disk
space when I carry my laptop across a hostile border, with only RedHat
standard software on the system, and be able to just download a module to
mount the disk (or type in three lines of Perl :-).
