For a layman as I am it is nonetheless difficult to comprehend
that it is not the general policy of the patent office to limit the
claim of any patent to the minimum (i.e. what it really deserves)
rather than to allow sort of fuzzy maximum which inherently is a kind
of invitation to later debates which is troublesome and certainly
inconvenient to the patent office.
