The Cryptix 3.0.x library (http://www.systemics.com/software/cryptix-java/)
already contains code for compatibility with PGP 2.6.x, and at least one
application (http://www.cs.ucl.ac.uk/staff/I.Brown/enigma/) is using it to
manage encrypted mail transparently.

The code is free, has been developed outside the US and many non-US mirrors
are available, but obviously it doesn't use the RSAREF library, and this
makes it not-so-legal for use on US soil.
