Thanks for clearing up what quadratic residues are. Is the Patel and
Sundaram PRNG
paper availible online?
Using 768 bit primes and the Schneier suggestion of log2( log2( s ) )
bits per square
gives you around 11 bits, which makes BBS quite nippy. Does anyone
have any ideas
re. testing whether this reduces the security of the BBS?
