Hi!

A nice overview of the reverse-engineering process of the RCX, a
controller designed for building robots using Lego parts, can be
found at

It looks like a reverse-engineering 101, and should be required reading
for businessmen like the Divx group, who build a multi-million
business on an encryption scheme where both the algorithm and the key
are stored in a device physically accessible to the user.
