You can also get a rather nice, efficient PD malloc to wrap around SCNSM, it's
written by Doug Lea and available from http://g.oswego.edu/dl/html/malloc.html.
 
Has anyone done a C wrapper for the Win16 version of the API? I can write the
code if someone wants it (I've done the same thing before for SFS), but don't
have easy access to a Win16 machine any more so I can't actually test it
afterwards. If someone has a platform to test it on let me know, it'd be nice
to have a single API which hides the details of whether it's being done under
Win16 or Win95.
