Perry & Measl:

Give me a break already!

I was mistaken, but not badly so. I was confusing an AT&T crypto
development lab that does work for the government with the AT&T
Research Lab. My supervisor noticed the mistake, and also informed
me that discussion of security issues at AT&T Research Labs is, as
he put it, off limits. I argree that this reaction seem strange,
but I'm not willing to press the point. I don't have a clearence
myself, but my company does have a relationship with AT&T Research
Labs and with various parts of the government, and so that may have
something to do with it. I can't say any more, I'm sorry.

I will stay out of this discussion and I appologize again
for any trouble I may have caused.

Jim
