SF Bay Area Cypherpunks April 1999 Physical Meeting

General Info:

  Sat 10 Oct 12:00 - 5:00 PM
  Probably at Stanford University Campus (Palo Alto, California)
    - Tressider Union courtyard, moving inside for demo or rain.
  (May be changed to NAI in Santa Clara, in which case there'll be a followon announcement)

   The April Physical Meeting of the San Francisco Bay Area Cypherpunks
   will be held on Saturday 10 April 1999 from 12-5 PM. This is an "Open
   Meeting on US Soil" and, as always, members of the Public are encouraged
   to attend.

Meeting Agenda:

- 12-1 Hang out, consume food, obtain caffeinated beverages
- Matt Blaze - talking about Keynote
- Lucky Green - followup about GSM A5 voice privacy algorithm crack
- Will Price - talking about PGP 6.5 IKE/IPSEC Client implementation
                        (commercial version interoperates with Linux FreeS/WAN)
- Hugh Daniel - demonstrating Linux FreeS/WAN 1.0
- CFP feedback - anyone who attended

- 5:00-? Dinner at a nearby restaurant usually follows the meeting.

Next Month's Meeting:
The IEEE Cryptography conference at the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley/Oakland
will be the week following the May 8 Cypherpunks meeting.

Location Info:

   The meeting location will be familiar to those who've been to our outdoor
   meetings before, but for those who haven't been, it's on the Stanford
   University campus, at the tables outside Tresidder Union, at the end of
   Santa Theresa, just west of Dinkelspiel Auditorium.
   We meet at the tables on the west side of the building, inside the
   horseshoe "U" formed by Tresidder. Ask anyone on campus where Tressider
   is and they'll help you find it.

   Food and beverages are available at the cafe inside Tressider.
