CVS compilation problem

Trying to compile the dia CVS version I get:

render_gdk.o: In function `draw_string':
/home/sdteffen/src/dia-cvs/app/render_gdk.c:951: undefined reference to 
`get_layout_first_baseline'

(This is the same with the CVS snapshot)

Looking at the the CVS log for render_gdk.c I find:
1.42cyrille Jun 26 15:26 Removed ultra-minor cruft.
The diff shows that get_layout_first_baseline was removed in this change.
Where should I find it now?
