Dia Bugs

Hi all,

I'm having serious problems with the freetype support in dia 0.90.
Everything works fine without freetype, but then the graphics are
unbelievably ugly.

1) dia won't save freetype font attributes.
any font is saved as regular, no matter if it was bold, italic or
bold/italic.

2) freetype fonts always have a white background.
if you place black text on a gray box, it looks wrong.

I'm using freetype-2.1.2, libxml-1.8.17 (dia refuses to use the
installed libxml2-2.4.21) and gnome-1.4
