Now that I think about it, I'd be interested in a Perl plugin as well.
My Dia-->SQL converter (http://tedia2sql.tigris.org) is written in Perl.
I don't imagine rewriting it to deal with Dia internal structures would
be too hard. I think someone said Dia's internal structures mimic the
XML savefile.
Would a Perl plugin allow me to add a "Save as SQL DDL" option on some
menu which then calls my Perl module?
