    When I try to Compile Pango It asks for Xft.

     I compile Xft 2.0.0 but gives errors related I think with my version of
XFree86.
     (my XFree86 comes with RedHat 7.2)

      Can I compile a new XFree86 and maintaining the same GNOME?
   Which version of Xfree I need?

   For compiling Dia 0.92, I need also Gnome Libs, Which ones, All?
