How to export text to EPS as text (no curves)?

Hello:

I want to export a diagram with a lot of text, to eps but I want the text
to be exported as text, not curves. Is it possible without hacking teh
sources? How?

IMHO the user should have the choice to toggle the option to export text
as text/curves. I am using last version (today cvs) and the diagram is not
using any specific font.
