Hi Michel,

The dia ebuild is maintained by Gentoo Developers, so your bug report 
would be more useful if posted on http://bugs.gentoo.org/ .

However, I cannot reproduce your problem, as the Gentoo ebuild uses 
- --without-python during ./configure if you do not have the "python" USE 
flag enabled. In that case, there should be no dependency on pygtk.
