Let me just announce here why I'm planning to get 0.94-pre1 out within a
month or two of 0.93 final:

While everybody's eyes were on the 0.93 prereleases, I sneakily started
a dev branch in which I beefed up the persistence a lot and added object
highlighting.  The highlighting in particular is nifty and something I'd
like to get out to people as soon as possible.
