I realize there is a good sized desire to allow anonymous access but is
there really so great a posting group of anon addresses? I've been on the
list for quite a while (I tend to simply lurk and listen) and the vast
majority of posts are not anon.
Additionally, if you are considering a moderated list of any kind why not
simply have users wishing to maintain their anonymity send their mail
through you or via a single anon account that is subbed? It would ease the
admin load and still allow anon posts a means of gaining post on the list.
