cryptography@c2.net might be a more appropriate list,
since you're talking theory rather than coding.
If you want to do rich text, HTML is as good as RTF,
and can be read by more people. Postscript and its derivatives like PDF
are ok for presenting collections of black marks on paper,
but it's nicer to have the input as well, whether it's LaTeX or MSRTF.
